6. If he wins the primary, the dirtballs here will re-elect his ass
Because the other rethug running is a nobody and the Democrat running is the very popular mayor of Anchorage.

No way (D) Mark Begich would ever lose against anyone other than who Alaskans fondly refer to as "Uncle Ted"...

19. I doubt that they will after they hear day after day the charges
Edited on Wed Jul-30-08 11:58 PM by grantcart
but in any case keeping it in the news helps with the rest of the country

it brings back all of the other images of corruption.

Its a win win.

If he gets elected and then convicted - more great publicity

8. I voted no, but I do want to see him lose to Mark Begich.
I wonder how many people responded "yes" for that reason.

It doesn't seem like it's being freeped.

11. ((( Thank you to those who voted no !! )))
If Stevens doesn't have to step down and stays in the race, there's too many people here who will give him the benefit of the doubt and will still vote for the CORRUPT BASTARD.

15. Those results are screwy!
Edited on Wed Jul-30-08 11:21 PM by NYC_SKP
You say it's being freeped?

Ted is and has always been a HUGE tool, too much power over such a large territory.

You know, an Alaska Senator has more voting power per acre of America than any other senator, by far, and that misses many people's attention.

I hope other DUers vote on this thing.
