Just got a letter from John Edwards
A while ago I sent a donation to the DNC in response to a letter I received asking for support and what not. Figured since George Bush didn't send me anything, I might as well send some funds to Kerry/Edwards.(tongue in cheek) So I did.

Today, I received a second letter from John Edwards who writes, "....our opponents have launched a negative campaign that is investing tens of millins of dollars to distract voters from the real issues facing our nation.....
The pundits are already predicting that the tide wil turn against us...
They're saying that George Bush, Dick Cheney, and the Republican Party will use their negative TV ads and the spotlight of the Republican Convention to reclaim the advantage in this campaign."

So what do you think posters? Be kind of funny to have the Democrats raise more money for the campaign during the week of the republican convention than the repub's made by charging people at the door.

How much shall I send?

3. congratulations on your first post!
but you're right. you shouldn't pay for stuff at walmart either, because they already have tons and tons of money than they should. Plus your $59.32 bill is peanuts to them anyway.

4. I never shop at Walmart. Walmart sucks.
But as I said, George Bush hasn't asked for anything, I don't spend my coins at Walmart so I should have something left over don't you think?

5. Bush set expectations for Kerry? I don't think he is smart enough
for that. So maybe I should send Bush peanuts and Kerry money. Welcome to DU!
