Whoa! Check out this MSM article about Obama
First, the headline: Obama blasts GOP economic policy as `reckless' Holy truth! Making Obama sound strong and knowledgable? Don't see that often...

Then the article (short but sweet): SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama says he's offering fundamental change from what he calls "reckless" Republican economic policies that have hammered middle-class families.

The Illinois senator says his rival John McCain plans to stay on the economic course charted by President Bush.

Obama was speaking to thousands jammed into a high school gymnasium in Springfield, Mo., the first stop on a bus tour devoted to discussing economic security.

Obama says he's offering voters the chance in November to reclaim the idea that opportunity in this country is open to anyone who's willing to work for it. By contrast, he says McCain thinks we're on the right track even though economic anxieties grow daily.

Nothing in there praising McCain or casting doubt on Obama. Just some facts. I guess I'm happy to see this, since it's not often we get an article that is wholly favorable to Obama or even neutral.

2. No, not by any means
It's an anomoly, which is why it stuck out to me. I'm actually just shocked because there is no McCain rebuttal in the article.

3. They do stuff like this b/c when they are called out for being
a joint arm of the RNC they can point to stuff like this and say this is proof that they aren't in the bag for McCain, the corporate candidate.
