Jig is up for Kerry: Why would the S.Fran Chronicle publish this BS?

The Jig Is Up For Kerry
VIEW FROM THE RIGHT

Adam Sparks, Special to SF Gate

John Kerry surrendered the election to George W. Bush this month when he finally came out and said exactly what he would do in Iraq. After months of equivocating over how the president misled the American people with all those phony WMDs and teasing us that he had a secret plan for Iraq, the Democratic candidate for president said he still would have given the president the authority to go into Iraq even without any evidence of WMDs. Wow, what an admission!

That's a position slightly to the right of Bush, who never went quite that far. The president removed Saddam, in large part, due to faulty intelligence; Kerry would have voted to give the president the authority anyway, regardless of whether Iraq had WMDs. What does this admission do to his campaign?

It sinks it. Kerry has been under pressure to straighten out his views on the war: Bush demanded that Kerry tell the American people whether he would have supported the war "knowing what we know now" about the failure to find weapons of mass destruction, and, in response, Kerry said, "Yes, I would have voted for the authority. I believe it was the right authority for a president to have."

That comment probably sealed the coffin for his presidential hopes, and the Lefties are squealing in contortions with this latest declaration. because so much of the leftist wing of the Democrat Party is made up of Deanie-weenies, who are both Saddam appeasers and unabashed peaceniks.

1. Anyone who uses the word "Deanie-weenie" is a partisan idiot.
He's just throwing out red meat for the right-wingers. Let him spew.

Subject: Newsflash from a "Deanie-weenie"

You really should check your facts on Dean's positions and track record before painting liars' labels. Typical.

6. Sparks is also to the right of anyone who breathes.
I have yet to even have the slightest interest in reading his drivel- given the titles he gives them.

I think that SF Chron has better opEd writers than most, they just go a bt too far in staying balanced. Morford, Rosen, Guillermo, and sometimes Ivins- the best of all. Pretty good lineup. They'll probably be flamed in the LTTEs for Sparks latest spew.

7. Let's all point and laugh, children
The stink of desperation fairly reeks through my computer monitor. Mr. Sparks fervently wishes the jig was up, but he knows in his heart that Stupidhead is cooked. His column is the flailing of a man who knows his candidate doesn't stand a chance.

10. They really think the left is that dumb to believe this interpretation?
They really think the left will blame Kerry for voting for a RESOLUTION with war as a last resort and NOT blame Bush for his dishonest implementation of the resolution?

How dumb is that?

11. Adam Sparks is the resident....
rightwing nutjub columnist at the Chron. We had so many leftwing columnists at the paper the editors brought another RWinger onboard to join Debra Saunders for "balance".
