The LA TIME has a story about a recent study that found the media hating on Obama far more than McCain. "This Week" was an absolute Obama bash fest this morning, through-out the first part of Obama's trip the media was obsesed with what error will he make, what gaffe, in the second half of the week they were all about is he too confident? The man can't do anything right according to them all while McCain had anohter week that would have endede anyone elses campaign.

Here is a taste...

The Center for Media and Public Affairs at George Mason University, where researchers have tracked network news content for two decades, found that ABC, NBC and CBS were tougher on Obama than on Republican John McCain during the first six weeks of the general-election campaign.

During the evening news, the majority of statements from reporters and anchors on all three networks are neutral, the center found. And when network news people ventured opinions in recent weeks, 28% of the statements were positive for Obama and 72% negative.

Network reporting also tilted against McCain, but far less dramatically, with 43% of the statements positive and 57% negative, according to the Washington-based media center.

1. They proved that they could be manipulated
by a complaint from a campaign when Clinton told the media that they were being too nice to Obama during the primaries. After her campaign went off on the media they did a compliant little 180 and made damned sure every story they told included a bit of Obama bashing.

McSame's henchmen decided to call the same play and whined all over the place last week that Obama was being treated like a rock star with kid gloves and the ever kowtowing stenographers aka piss poor excuses for jounalists rolled right over again so they could do the bidding of Tucker Bounds and the rest of the McLame Minion brigade.
