Did you notice when Cokie Roberts said Obama needed to pick a "boring white guy" ...
George Stephanapoulos immediately brought up the idea that Evan Bayh could be Obama's VP pick. I nearly fell off my futon laughing.

It's just like the phrase "boring white guy" automatically triggers an image of Evan Bayh, lol.

5. oh I couldn't imagine a worse pick
Balance out all that Obama excitement with some Bayh boringness. That's Beltway conventional wisdom for you.

9. I hope he chooses someone with some kick-ass foreign
policy creds, someone who is interesting, regardless of race or gender.

11. I have always liked Wes Clark or Bill Richardson
as good matches for Obama. Biden or even Jim Webb would be good, but I think they're fine right where they are in the Senate. Although, Biden could be ready to move on, maybe Secretary of State or Defense?

12. yeah George can be pretty bland
a lot of the time. He's rather young and exciting compared to the people he has on his show, like say Sam Donaldson and George Will, but that's not saying much. He is Greek, I guess that's a little different.

4. lol
awesome. Yes, Bayh would be a boring choice that brings nothing to the ticket. Probably not even his home state.

10. I still think Lieberman and Bayh would be a great ticket
They could be sponsored by Tylenol PM.

7. Oh the roundtable is typically useless
I always get on my computer when they start up. I just happened to be kicking back on the futon a little longer than normal at the time.

18. Pretty Hateful Stuff Today
worse than usual -

Obama's trip was so successful - they were working extra hard to get in the nasty remarks.
