McCain Denies CBS Interview Mistatements on Iraq

Get this, in an unexpeced trip to the grocery store (wink, wink), McCain gives an impromptu interview with reporters in the dairy section and denies he made mistatements.

He told reporters that, what the Bush administration calls "the surge" was actually "made up of a number of components," some of which began before the president's order for more troops.

Can you believe he's actually trying to play teh semantics card? LMAO!!! ... this guy has lost his marbles.

I wish I could find that old post on DU that discussed the fact that it wasn't the increase in troops that pacified the Sunni areas of Iraq, it was money paid to the war lords and religious leaders to stand down.
