Lots! I can only think of one yard where I've seen a McCain sign, and ironically enough, it was a pretty rundown home. I'll never understand why people with no means support repukes. It's baffling.

3. That's interesting, because here in NW Arkansas, reddest

part of the state, I have YET to see even ONE McCain sign. There are still several large Ron Paul signs around, and I get regular emails from a Ron Paul supporter in the area, but NOTHING on McCain. Even conservative acquaintances just shake their heads when I even mention his name. I always like to mention that, to me, Bob Barr is a better representative of their values, as I know they would never vote for a Democrat.

6. I have yet to see a McCain yard sign, either

and I've only seen two McCain bumper stickers (anywhere; I've seen none in my home county). There are at least a half-dozen Obama yard signs up in my hometown already. I know yard signs/bumper stickers aren't the most accurate way to gauge support, but I still find it interesting. I live in a formerly-Democratic-trending-red area; my county voted for Clinton twice, but then voted for Shrub twice by around 60-percent. I think part of that was due to many people's misguided "home state" pride in supporting the former governor, so it will be interesting to see if McCain is in for a much closer race. I believe McCain will still win due to my county's reddening trend and the fact that it's further behind most of the country on racial issues, but I can still hope...
