Peggy Noonan is a real piece of work.
Edited on Tue Jul-15-08 08:16 AM by Skwmom
FYI: It's not a bunch of 23 year olds who are angry by the attacks against Obama. And Democracy is NOT a bunch of corporate employed media hacks (without a SHRED OF JOURNALISTIC INTEGRITY) attacking a man 24/7.

Do you think these people are just stupid, or to blinded by greed to understand their complicity in destroying this country (how do you think we ended up with two terms of George Bush)? Morning Joe is nothing more than an Obama bash fest. They are pathetic.

I see nothing wrong with constructive criticism and holding elected officials accountable, but any idiot with half a brain cell can see that is not what is happening here.

To Mika: I hope the money they are paying you, and the "fame" you get from hosting/co-hosting Morning Joe is worth the future America that you are helping to bequeath to your children.

3. Mika has become a joke
She has ruined any journalistic credibility she has with her behavior on that show. I imagine she's trying to get along with Joe but it's not worth your self respect.

7. She has become nothing more than a hack. I think hosting the show while
Joe was off really stirred the old "I want my own show" sentiment. And I'm sure she knows what it will take to achieve that goal.

4. "Wow!"
"Whoa!"

"Oh boy!"

Some of Mika's more insightful comments on the show. She's an airhead. At least the airheads on Fox News are good looking.

9. Basically they were ridiculing people who were angy at the New Yorker cover
as unwilling to accept any criticism of Obama, which they, the professional journalistic group that they are, are duty bound to do.

I hope someone captured the segment and puts it up on YouTube. They were a bunch of clueless, laughing Jackals.

15. They were talking about the angry e-mails that Mika got from viewers because...
... she had talked about Obama flip-flopping. Both she and Peggy Noonan said "But he did!" Then they decided that it was all the young people e-mailing because they don't understand how democracy works and they don't want to hear anything negative about their candidate.

Of course this is bullshit. I'm 56 years old, and I e-mailed them (and all the other "news" shows) about this false flip-flop crap that they're putting out there. I'm sure most of the e-mails come from people other than those new young voters that Obama is pulling in.

people who live in their parent's basement with ketchup stains on their shirts. Keep in denial, Morning Joe crew. Yeah, Mika is a fucking joke. I remember when Dems were calling out McCain for saying that we were back to pre-surve levels, and the surrogates were saying that he was "confused about the facts", and Mika thought that was playing the "age card" and said "Hmmm, I am NOT liking the tone that is coming out of the Obama campaign so far". Mika, I'll gladly take some of that crack that you are smoking.

I've wondered if she's on something. Sometimes she acts like a 5 year old. It is really unprofessional.

2. I turned it on for a second.
And they were talking about GM, and Pat went off on a tirade about how much his party sucks, and squealed "The corporate interests and the interests of the Reagan Democrats have diverged, and our party is losing these people and damn it, we deserve to lose every one of them!" And then Joe "I was in Congress" Scarbs of course had to bring up when he was in Congress and said that when he was up for re-election, he used to bash unions all of the time because that's what his "friends" were doing until someone from a union told him not too. "Because his friends" were doing it- very telling for Joe. Such a creep. And Mika was saying that Obama's "flip flops" feed into the Muslim rumors or something.

11. I caught Moron Joe talking about his union bashing...
I watched about 43 seconds of the show and caught Moron Joe riffing about how he used to bash unions until some guy came up and told him to pipe down... all while Pat Puke Cannon was yakking about why all the jobs went away...

Very telling 43 seconds...

17. Oh, Boy when he began to talk as though he relates to the unions..
I felt like jumping through the television. These republiCONS are trying to pretend as though they have always been for the working person and that all of the blame is the Democrats because they have been in a majority for a year and a half.

These people seem to think that no one was watching them for the years before the Dems obtain a majority. I am really frustrated that no one seems to be outraged that Bush is prancing around blaming everything on the Democrats as though he has nothing to do with the damage done in this country and around the world.

Msnbc is really good at spinning, when they are trying to downplay some issues on the economy they bring on Jack Welch and that one of the assholes on CNBC to talk about tax cuts. If they think they are talking to a majority of the american people they seem to be forgetting that a lot of people aren't thinking about a tax cut if they don't have a job..

20. I saw my boy Joe say yesterday that Fannie Mae was an example of "socialism"
And it was no wonder it failed because socialism never works. Of course never mind that it has been around since 1938 and never mind that in the next breath came the discussion of the failure of IndyMac, which one would assume Joe wouldn't consider to be a bunch of pinko commies. He is a tool of the highest order.

13. Who was the woman on this am ....
that really riled joe? She looked to be in her late thirties, brown hair, very talkative about the war. joe hatefully told her to "let me finish" and kept rolling his eyes with a look of disgust on his face. joe retorted that everybody will see the war and the bush admin differently in ten years and what a great thing it's all gonna turn out to be when the history books are written.

Loopy mika just sat there sipping on her starbucks looking bored.

19. I think when Joe was off she got a "taste" off what it would be like to
have her own show and she's basically willing to do anything to make that dream come to. I'm sure she's been praised for not following into the liberal trap and being "objective" or something along those lines (as in keep up the good work, we have big plans for you, you're doing a great job).

That people have an infinite capacity to rationalize, especially when it comes to something they want is one of the truest statements ever uttered.

I think that some in the media want to think the worst of Obama, b/c then they can use it to help rationalize their endless attacks on him.

22. I was just looking at the video on rawstory...
Noonan,Mika and scarbou, are discussing obama supporters and talking about how angry they are, they think that most of his supporters are young and don't know the difference when they hear a lie. Mika really doesn't believe she is lying when she tells us Obama changed his opinion on Iraq.

Evidently, they have been overflowing with emails calling out on the bull, I will make sure I add some comments. The thing that got me is that they are talking about Obama should talk to his supporters and tell them to stop attacking as they call it. Do they really think that he can stop us from speaking up when they are lying continuosly and framing questions as though they are really true..

25. What these people dont understand
Is we dont want to continue the game they want to play. Neither does obama. Noonan explains in that clip how this is how its done you are just a rookie blah blah.. Well I am not a rookie and I am sick of their bullshit LIES and framing. That's why we aren't putting up with it we want to change the way we do this stuff not continue in the tired crapfest you think should be normal despite the fact that it has been the norm in the past.

Wake the fuck up Peggy.
