Are They KIDDING???
The Denver Group: Keeping the Democratic Party democratic, created by Georgetown Law professor Heidi Li Feldman and freelance advertising man Marc Rubin, ran an ad in Friday's Chicago Tribune declaring:

"Senator Clinton's name must be put in nomination. Her supporters must be allowed to make speeches on her behalf of her candidacy. There must be an honest roll call vote, not a symbolic one, so superdelegates can cast their votes honestly, for either candidate, as their judgment, conscience and democratic principles dictate."

Is this for real? does anyone know? Does Hillary know about this? THIS doesn't make want to help pay off her debt.

7. i'm sorta waiting for the other shoe to drop in all this...
who knows what can happen, some of the H campaigners and supporters are capable of anything - and they called Obama fans fanatical and koolaid drinking and unrealistic, ha!. I don't like this feeling, it came a bit too easy after such a brutal long match and then there's silent bill in the background, grumbling and all wounded. I'm rambling, sorry, but there's something afoot methinks with all the jabs at Obama's character on the media at full tilt now and the extraordinary and almost embarrassing kissing up to hillary to appease her for something or other.

This is the #1 reason I reject HRC as VP. The Clintons set the precedent for being disrespectful toward Barack, and her minions are merely emulating that behavior. As the nominee, it is his ring that must be kissed, not the other way around.

This one really caused a faceplant:

"We womyn can still win this thing. This gives me so much hope for womynkind.

There are only two kinds of penised persons: rapists and prerapists. No more penised presidents! We need Hillary! We won't take anything less.

We don't have much time. We womyn can plan safely where no penised person or previously penised person is allowed: the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival August 5-10.

Does anyone know of a womynsafe space in Denverthat is still available where we can join forces for the Democratic National Conventionduring August 25-28?"

38. The part that said "she lost"
Seriously, I get the feeling from some of the PUMA types that the only thing Sen. Obama could do to gain their support is call a press conference, appear wearing sackcloth and ashes, grovel in apology for having gotten more votes and delegates than Sen. Clinton, and announce he's immediately quitting the race and giving all his delegates to Sen. Clinton.

At which point he then commits ritual public suicide to atone for the sin of defeating the blessed Goddess of Peace (tm).

Then and only then will the PUMA types even come close to forgiving him. Though I doubt that would appease them any.

5. This issue can be compromised on
Let HIllary's name go into the roll call, on the condition that these last remaining die hards agree to become public and enthusiastic Obama supporters on the convention floor after he is nominated. Once he is nominated, they must agree to put away their Hillary signs and buttons and become flag waving Obama supporters in full view of all the cameras on the TV screen on the convention floor.

If that is done then I have no objection to Hillary being placed into the roll call.

That started out as GOP, only involved themselves in the Democratic primaries to cause mischief and a lot of noise, and now that their plan backfired they still try to cause mischief and a lot of noise leading up to the Convention. But when they fail again they'll end up voting for McCain anyway.

Just like they planned to all along.

52. Sigh.
The Denver Group's "MISSION" is:

"..to insure that the DNC respect and carry out the democratic process at the convention in Denver this August by meeting certain specific goals. We will be advocating, and if neccessary pressuring, through purchased mass media as well other accepted avenues, the Democratic National Committee to see to it that these goals and the interests of tens of millions of Democratic voters are met."

(***see below for whole mission statement)

It seems to me they are not only drinking the Kool-Aid, they can't count. 18 million is 1 "ten million + 8 million" not "tens of millions which would be at LEAST 20 million.

WHO WE ARE AND OUR GOALS AND PURPOSES
The Denver Group has been formed to insure that the Democratic National Committee respect and carry out the democratic process at the convention in Denver this August by meeting certain specific goals. We will be advocating, and if neccessary pressuring, through purchased mass media as well other accepted avenues, the Democratic National Committee to see to it that these goals and the interests of tens of millions of Democratic voters are met.

Our goals are:

An open convention.

Senator Clinton's name placed in nomination. No symbolic roll call vote.

Speeches allowed by supporters of Senator Clinton on
behalf of her candidacy.

A genuine roll call vote with Senator Clinton as a legitimate candidate.

No coronation

58. The GOP is desperately hoping to disrupt the Democratic Convention
It's clearly one of their "October surprise" plans -- the hope of having a 1968-style meltdown in Denver, involving violence in the streets, dissent on the convention floor, or anything else they can cook up to make the Democrats look bad and rev up those old Nixon-era vibes.

Of course, there isn't anything remotely like that in the works -- but that won't stop them from manufacturing it. Look out for false flag terrorist attacks, agents provocateurs in the ranks of any legitimate protesters, and attempts to sow bad feelings within the party.

I've been getting a really uneasy feeling about this lately -- a sense that there could be some extremely nasty stuff in the world -- and I can only hope that the party leaders and Obama people are picking up the same threats and won't be blindsided.
