It's the economy STUPID........
My house has devalued 20% since 2005.

My food costs have gone up 15% since 2005.

My gas prices have increased 230% since 2000.

My health care has increased 30% since 2000.

My utility bills go up 4% a month.

Every single night, as a business owner, I worry about money and family.

I really don't care what your problems with Obama are. Actually, I HATE every single one of you selfish people who continue to push wedge issues over the health of myself and my country.

Vote for McCain. Go ahead, 4 more years. Thanks for all your "concern."

you little whiner.

According to Gramm and mcshame.

2. Didn't McCain's "economic adviser" just say we're a bunch of whiners
and that the recession is all in our heads anyhow? Obviously you're just imagining that your house has devalued 20% since 2005, that your food costs have gone up 15%, that your gas prices have increased 230% since 2000, that your health care has increased 30% since 2000 and that your utility bills go up 4% a month?

McCain has guys like that working for him.

Whatever anybody's "concerns" may be with Obama, just look at McCain and the asshats who support him. And then get off your butts and do everything in your power to keep these lunatics away from the White House.

3. Whiner. Have a beer--I'm so with you, guy.
Pilsner Urquell good with you? It's the one indulgence I'm allowing myself...

4. You libs just don't get it....

<<My house has devalued 20% since 2005.>>
I'm betting that's because you live in an area with whining libs like yourself.. like California, or Florida with that Wexler blathering about impeachment, or Las Vegas with that Harry Reid. If you lived in a gun-toting, red-meat state like Wyoming... you wouldn't be having this problem.

<<My food costs have gone up 15% since 2005.>>
You libs keep complaining about obesity in America... then the marketplace reacts to this, and all of a sudden you're all a-twitter? Puh-lease.. even a Wal-Mart greeter can still afford Kraft Macaroni and Top Ramen... get over it!

<<My gas prices have increased 230% since 2000.>>
You libs put reefs and carribou ahead of drilling, and you wouldn't let any refineries be built because of all that Al Gore nonsense. Hey -- he didn't invent the internet and a few years of warmth doesn't make for global warming. If you libs yould just shut up and let us drill, we wouldn't be having this problem.

<<My health care has increased 30% since 2000.>>
If you libs had opened some HSAs like the president told you, and then you'd have had a broker invest that money in vital parts of our economy, like Corn futures or Gold, you'd be healthy and have enough change in your pocket to go buy that Chuck Norris Total Gym. Why is your failure to take care of your needs my problem????

<<My utility bills go up 4% a month.>>
Listen to your lib idol Jimmy Carter... put on a sweater, lower the 'stat, and lower your expectations. Sheeesh...

<<Every single night, as a business owner, I worry about money and family.I really don't care what your problems with Obama are. Just the other day, I heard Paul Harvey telling us how no great nation has ever survived with a median tax rate of more than 25%. How do I know that's true? Because Paul Harvey said it, that's how. If there's one thing I know -- whether it's taxes, or a BOSE Wave Music System -- it's that Paul Harvey doesn't lie. If you libs would just understand that we all prosper when the wealthiest among us are rewarded with tax rates approaching 0%, and we all benefit when our money is invested in strong defense, instead of lib programs like lunches for kids or welfare for illegal aliens. ShaneGR, if John McCain is elected, you can rest easy knowing that your neighbors will all have guns, your pastor -- not the government -- will soon be making decisions on welfare and education in your community, and those ungrateful, draft dodging, hippie sunsabeeches -- who lost the Vietnam war for this nation -- will have to pay for their own retirement and medical care because we'll end all of their social programs and send that money to Wall Street where it can do some good.

Meanwhile.... stop whining ;-)

allows itself to be fooled every time. Dead-solid perfect.

8. Although I live in Omaha, my work takes me to businesses in IA, SD, and NE
I meet all the business owners... I hear all of these complaints (not all at once, mind you).. then I have to hear all the local Rush wannabees.

... and yes, I was driving in Grand Island, NE and I really did hear this lonnnng recording (from the 80's or early 90s, I think) of Paul Harvey sounding ever so sincere and reasonable and talking about how we gave up all our property rights in this county when we passed the 16th amendment, and how the pioneers who built this country relied on their belief in God and themselves and didn't ask anyone for help....of course Paul didn't mention the parts about influenza, typhus, and cholera wiping out the doctorless... or robbing native land (talk about your government assistance) to build this pioneer paradise...or how the progressive movement started because of the excesses and shortcomings of 19th century America... or slavery.. or the horrid labor conditions that unions eventually helped to end.

6. Hey, Kudos to Bush, He Achieved A Rare Double
He is perhaps the only President to have two separate, stand alone bear markets in one presidency. First, there was 2000-2002. Second, there is the current bear market, which was achieved yesterday.

There are other Presidents who had a greater single decline in the stock market, but in the past 100 years or so, I think Bush may be the one President who presided over 2 separetly bear markets.
