Let's stop the "Kerry wrote the report" lie -- Email the AP
This is not a bad article, but it's got one uncorrected quote that's starting to make me crazy:

In reply, Thurlow issued a statement. "There was no hostile enemy fire directed at my boat or any of the five boats operating on the river that day," it said, adding that the evidence for the citation was drawn from a report that Kerry had filed.

They've got to start correcting this. I realize he's quoting Thurlow, but the misinformation is going around that Kerry wrote the after-action report, and there's no evidence for it. Without it, their whole stupid story falls apart.

If you agree, please shoot an email to [email protected] . Thanks!

2. I've heard Thurlow several times and his story has changed.
It began with "it had to have been Kerry" who wrote the report to "it was Kerry" who wrote the report. What a pice of filth this man is; I'd like his email.

4. The funniest part is when they say it was his initials.
Since when are "KJW" his initials?! That one cracks me up!

(Besides, according to the NYTimes, these were the initials of the person who received and read the report, not the person who wrote it. And the initials were on lots of reports, including some for actions that didn't involve Kerry in any way.)
