I am now receiving 100'ds of Emails a day from about 15 different

Posters on the same issue "Obama Vote against FISA" or something to that effect; All exactly the same but with several different texts. Has anyone else experienced this. I have my suspicions but what do you think and do any of you have any suggestions on how to stop this? I have gotten to the point of just deleting them en mass losing other important emails. To say it is annoying is an understatement.

6. I think it is spam though there are several different posters posting ...

each posting 3 to 5 times in a row and then keep repeating. I have deleted them all so I am going on memory but if I now go and look at my email there will be 40 or fifty more.

Went to preferences and reversed the yes to no for the sending of personal messages though if that is really the problem it is hard to believe fellow du'ers would do that.

9. It never occurred to me that these repetitious subject lines (over a thou and )

were coming from fellow DU'ers so I was just deleting them without opening. I now have gone back and read some of the messages and it appears to be a running conversation on the FISA/Obama issue and quite an interesting one at that for which I am being copied. I am guessing that is because I have been so outspoken on that issue in previous posts. So am guessing the mystery is solved.
