Surface Map and I am proud to have stood up and defended my positions here. The lawsuit is just one of many that will be proven correct. If the paronoia that permeates this place will settle down a little we can win the Nov election.

We also need to become aggressive toward the Swift vets. We also need to start running a POSITIVE campaign and start talking about what we will do as opposed to bashing what the Bushies do or don't do.

The Kerry campaign addressed 4 other issues in addition to the smearvets yesterday alone. Were you aware of these? If so, did you disregard them in favor of using webspace to criticize our own nominee? How many posts have you made highlighting the actual efforts of the Kerry campaign?

After spending a little time here complimenting the Kerry campaign would be like peeing in the ocean-you know some things don't make a difference. I like some of the things the Kerry campaign is doing and some make me sick. I like the lawsuit. I don't like the fact that they waited so long.

I like the fact that Kerry has come out and said that he would have gone into Iraq today knowing what he knows today. Not only do I agree with him but very smartly he realizes he will attract more flies with honey.....

What set me off on my negative tangent here(besides my negative thinking) was seeing all the post that were so filled with venom toward Bush and the war (SADR for example) that it could very easily be percieved and I repeat PERCIEVED (not is) but PERCIEVED as anti-American. My point was we are not going to change the BUSHIES minds and they are not going to change ours but if we keep negatively attacking the war(especially when Kerry has sent us a clue) we will push some moderates and undecideds to the other side.

Yes I believe the war was the right thing to do and I have already been called everything in the book for it so please save all your name calling. I have already explained why I feel this way and I realize it is an unpopular opinion here but it shouldn't mean we can't agree on most everything else.

I don't agree with everything my wife says and does but I love her to death.

I have found very few or more accurately nobody here who agrees with my position on the war but I have found several who agree with my position on the fact that if we keep bashing the war we will not gain votes but lose them because of the PERCEPTION(not is) but I repeat PERCEPTION of it being an anti-American position.

I have been saying it since last spring when these guys(swift boat vets) first showed up on the radar. I just found this site through a coworker. No offense but this isn't the only place where politics are discussed.

. . . they filed an FEC complaint.

There's a big difference. In fact, I would make the case that filing the FEC complaint is a terrible move unless they file a lawsuit as well. Because filing an FEC complaint without filing the lawsuit gives the impression that the content of the ads is accurate.
