CO is now a toss up! (another poll confirms tied race in the state)
Edited on Fri Aug-20-04 03:08 PM by fujiyama
Rasmussen confirms that the state is tied.

Bush 47% Kerry 47%

Same results as Survey USA Bush 47% Kerry 47%

This is good news. I'm not sure how the SwiftLiars are doing but Kerry is still holding on.

There are some new polls in MI, FL, NM, IA and PA. I'll get the links in a little bit, but if you want check the following site. They have all the newest (and older as well) polls and links to them. He's a Bush supporter but his analysis is good. FL and OH are either leaning or still have a slight advantage for Kerry. A new NM poll also has Kerry up by 7 (ARG).

1. I'm really hoping for a Salazar win.
This is a crucial seat to win. We absolutely need it if we are to hold even or gain in the senate. If Kerry wins, all we need is 50-50 to gain majority control.

4. Not a bad idea, but it concerns me that it could be applied unevenly.
If Republicans manage to ram this throught, in, say California, New York and other states like these, and manage to block them in their strong states, it will be to the GOP's advantage. We must be judicious about this measure. I wish these things could be federally-determined.

2. Don't get your hopes up too high, we have a long way to go
Personally I don't follow polls until after the debates. Kerry will crush * in the debates.

5. I'm being
pretty realistic. I know that Kerry has an uphill battle in that state. I figured the site needed some good news after the swift liars shit.
