Obamas Quote (one of my favorites ever)

"Whatever we once were we are no longer a Christian nation, at least not just. We are also a Jewish nation, and a Muslim nation, and a Buddhist nation, and a Hindu nation and a nation of non-believers. And even if we did have only Christians in our midsts, if we expelled every non-Christian from the United States of America, who's Christianity would we teach in the schools?"

My dad watches Fox News like its going out of style so I always have the pleasure of catching it. Sean Hannity was having a shitfit with the suggestion that America is not a Christian Nation. Of course he distorted the quote and has the depth of an empty swimming pool so he didnt even fucking get it. I cant believe what a fucking ass hole retard he is every fucking day of his life.

Here is the quote in the first fifty seconds of this video.

I think the actual full speech is on Obamas website.

1. I don't know how you can stand it, horseface
living alone has its advantages - I NEVER have to watch what I don't want to watch. Heck, I deleted FOX so I wouldn't even accidentally channel surf it. You want I should kick some parental FOX-loving ass, horseface?

2. You know, I dont mind hearing where the other side is coming from...
it only serves to strengthen where I am coming from most of the time. I only have one cousin that is Democrat, the rest of my family is Republicans, so I am used to it. I am having a blast laughing in their face this year and watching them shit as their party wallows in the throes of an epic identity crisis.

4. Obama's quote is the real deal, despite the naysayers.
My DH has the 'opportunity' to listen to Hannity on occasion; he's an idiot, with an idiot laugh, and an idiot response to anything. So is Rush, but apparently he's funnier. Whatever.

Don't worry yourself, I'm not.

5. I never watch Fox. But today for some reason.....
Edited on Tue Jun-24-08 12:16 AM by ErinBerin84
I got this really morbid curiosity to turn it onto Sean Hannity on the commercial from my other show tonight . The first couple of times I did it, Fox was on commercial too. I don't really know why I did this. I know that some people here watch Fox to "know what the enemy is up to", and I have NEVER had the urge to check up on them. But for some reason, I wanted to see if they were talking about the Charlie Black comment and spinning it (I figured they wouldn't bring it up, but I wanted to see if they would). Well, the third time that I tried, Sean Hannity was on. Well. I watched it for about two minutes, and it was worse than I ever could have dreamed. It's so sick that people can watch that show and agree with his mind set. His fucking little outrage over Obama saying that people have to recognize that the United States is not just a Christian nation, but a Nation that celebrates and contains people of all faiths and people need to be respectful of that. He was spinning the comment as Anti-Christian and out of touch and...well, I know that I shouldn't expect any less from Sean Hannity, but it was still pretty breathtaking for me to see his hatred instead of just read about it. At least it forever cured my urge to EVER check up on what those Fox fucks are up to, but I still felt disturbed by it hours later. The fact that someone would spin religious tolerance into that....disgusting little fucking PIG.

ok, I got that out of my system. No one needs to tell me "not to watch Fox" or "what did you expect from Fox", it's still appauling and I'm glad that I'll never have to urge to check up on Sean Hannity again. Democrats who give us updates on the absurdity of Fox are stronger than I am. Though I think it does show that the Right is scared about Obama's evangelical outreach.

6. I never watch that guy ,whoever he is but I have to say
religion brings out the worst in people!!!!
This could be a peaceful planet if we all just could love one another and do away with all religions.I follow the golden rule"DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE THEM DO UNTO and we could all live in peace.
The hard thing for me to understand is since we are all humans why do we hate anyone who is different from us???
