who want the government to ensure they use the power of government for ill gotten gains and little else...in retrospect, he refuses to be one of them...pretty simple I would guess.

8. Don't forget the media, they always portray him as some sort of left wing radical...
when he is no such thing, he's barely center-LEFT, but the fact that he's anywhere on the left, even if just barely, is enough to get him labeled a radical. Our media is nuts, to put it simply, and the whole political culture of this country is far too conservative, period, and the media sets that tone.
