3. It's a loser argument for McCain
to push the "he broke his pledge" argument. In the first place most people don't care and in the second place it draws attention to the huge number of small donors Obama has in contrast with the big money "Bush Pioneer" fundraising model that McCain is using. It's a win/win for Obama and as usual the campaign it about 5 steps ahead.
