Cindy McShame Bears Her Teeth, Takes Bite At Michelle Obama
Cindy McShame Less Understanding Than Laura Bush Of Michelle Obama's Remarks

She doesn't need to keep going there...
Cindy needs to take a few Vicodin and relax. Maybe she could steal some more drugs like she stole that butterscotch cookie recipe.

From the wire:
Posted at 5:10 PM on June 18, 2008.

Cindy McCain criticizes Michelle Obama in an interview to be aired tomorrow on ABC's "Good Morning America". Speaking about the months-old Michelle Obama patriotism controversy, Cindy McCain says:
I don't know why she said what she said. Everyone has their own experience. I don't know why she said what she said, all I know is that I have always been proud of my country.

McCain's comments on the issue differ from Laura Bush's, who defended Obama in an earlier "Good Morning America" interview.
I think she probably meant I'm 'more proud,' you know, is what she really meant. You have to be very careful in what you say. I mean, I know that, and that's one of the things you learn and that's one of the really difficult parts both of running for president and for being the spouse of the president, and that is, everything you say is looked at and in many cases misconstrued.

This morning, Michelle Obama guest-hosted "The View" and noted how she sent a thank you note to Bush for standing up for her.

1. This is going to leave Cindy looking mean spirited and spiteful......
Cindy loves the silver spoon that she was born with. Had she taken a higher road, she could have earned Butterscotch Cookie Points. But now, she will just look small and petty.
Go Cindy! Keep it up.

wants to go there. She doesn't want folk to start throwing stones at her for all of her deeds, like you know being a home wrecker and stealing drugs from her own charity. She needs to go sit in a corner and STFU.

6. That's all we effin' need: a cat fight to avoid the issues. Laura B. gave MO a free pass on that
comment. If Cindy wants to discuss the economy, the Iraq debacle, etc., let her. But c'mon! What's next? The color of Michelle's dress?

7. Laura Bush did not set super-high standards for First Ladies, but IMO, she's a kind soul of a person
who does not seem to harbor resentments. Despite who she's married to I've found it difficult to dislike her.

Laura Bush is alright by me. ;)

8. I agree but . . .
I have empathy and sympathy for Laura BECAUSE of who she married. I think she's an intelligent woman who spent the better part of her life smiling at him but thinking, "Would you not say and do stooopid things? Pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaase. And if you make one more monkey face . . ." ;-)

13. To think that I always praised her when she stood behind him
as he gave his speeches. I thought "Oh she is such a supportive wife." Little did I know she was actual a rattlesnake that was being quiet for a while. Now her true colors have emerged. I actually spent time praying for her when I heard that she had a stroke. Seems like she did not learn a thing from her near fatal stroke. Yes, her husband and Barack are aiming for the presidency but there is no reason for the potential first ladies to be nasty towards each other.

Joe Scaborough keeps mentioning Michelle's "pride" bit. Give it a rest.

Michelle is a much better person than McC**t's c**t. Even Laura B. is a much better human being.

20. Fair? FAIR? When yesterday Clone McShame attacked the DNC....
saying it was targeting Cindy over misuse of campaign funding, which was a LIE.

I don't think so. They're in attack mode on Michelle and we don't need to let down our guard. We need to use any opportunity to fairly attack. Cindy is becoming a broken record on this single issue and seems to want to mention it over and over. She needs to chill on the Michelle patriotism bit.

Edited on Thu Jun-19-08 08:21 AM by notmypresident
Born with a silver churchkey in her hand wtf does she know about life in this country anyway.

Personally I haven't been proud of this country since about 1974 or so and I don't give a good damn what anyone thinks about that.

23. Cindy should be very careful about taking on Michelle...
Cindy has a past history of drug addiction, drug abuse, and stealing drugs from a charity she ran. She also had an affair with McCain when he was still married to his first wife.

I think, if Cindy continues to throw stones, her glass house may suffer badly.

24. StrokeGirl needs to take a "red" and STFU...
Someone should reply that we wish nothing but the best for people like her, its been proven that stroke victims can exhibit bizarre behavior after the Event, so she's to be forgiven for saying strange things or being out of context, and who knows what kind of brain damage the poor lady inflicted upon herself due to drug addiction, thankfully she has millions of dollars so she can be cared for despite odd outbursts, unlike so many Americans who dont even have health care for the same condition.

Snap.
