Obama will win by Landslide.Top 10 reasons and please add more folks woo hoo
I have heard many people say Mccain will be close or has an edge or Obama doesn't have the experience or he is black etc.

Here is my Top ten reasons why Obama will win.

10. Obama has raised more money in a primary than anyone in hstory.
9. The Democrats have registered more new voters than anytime in hstory.
8. Obama has campaigned in every state.
7. Obama beat one of the toughest political teams in modern history.
6. She is now supporting him (good on ya Hill and Bill)
5. Obama will raise more money than any other Presideantial Candidate in hstory
4. Obama has one of the best Campaign teams of all time .
3. Obama was against the War !!!
2. Obama has never publicily used the C word on his wife.
1. The number one reason. He is dead sexy in a pair of ray-bans!!!

1. I agree with your assessment
I believe the voter turn out in the primaries along with the fund raising tells the tale. In regard to #5, I believe he will raise more than several candidates combined. I am not sure that #10 will be a deciding factor for voters, but he does look Presidential while McCain simply looks and acts old.

2. I gave my number one the sunglasses because many people
just vote for the candidate they think is more cool. McCain is going to be swallowed up in this election. At the end of the day any Presidential candidate who goes around singing Bomb Iran is suffering from brain damage

13. I can scarcely believe we'll be treated to his voice and image for 8 years!
Just for fun, we'll have to pull up archives of the bad old days....

3. I think it’s VERY possible!!...I'm cautiously optimistic myself

There are a number of reasons.

Among them:

1. Analyst predict that oil could very well reach $200 per barrel
over the next six months. link:
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=armYFIWZS8V0&refer=home

There are many, many factors affecting the massive rise in oil price. It would not be a stretch to assign some of the responsibility to the policies of the Bush Administration.

But regardless whose fault this is, the consequences will reverberate throughout the entire world economy and the incumbent President of the United States and his Party will be held responsible in the eyes of many, many Americans.

There is no doubt that many, many Americans will associate John McCain with the problem.

This has the potential to create for John McCain and the Republicans a political disaster this coming November.

2. And all of this aside, Rasmussen which has many times be criticized for having a Republican bias reports trending very favorable to the Democrats and very unfavorable to the Republicans. - link:
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

"Rasmussen Markets data gives Democrats a 62.9% chance of winning in November (results are updated on a 24/7 basis by market participants)."

"Underlying this dismal outlook for the GOP is the fact that more and more people are considering themselves to be Democrats. In fact, the Democrats now have the largest partisan advantage over the Republicans since Rasmussen Reports began tracking this data on a monthly basis nearly six years ago. "see also this Rasmussen report on Party identity trending:
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

3. And on top of everything else, along with a very low interest level as reflecting in very low primary participation, the Republicans are having a lot of trouble raising money for the Presidential campaigns:
http://www.opensecrets.org/pres08/index.php

4. President Bush Job Approval. Bush Job Approval Falls to Another All-Time Low: http://rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/pol...

"Sixty-five percent (65%) disapprove of the President’s Performance, up two points from a week ago." "Also in April, as the President’s Approval Rating slipped, the number of Americans who consider themselves to be Democrats remained near the highest levels ever recorded by Rasmussen Reports."

5. Democrats Trusted More on All Ten Electoral Issues Tracked by Rasmussen Reports:
http://rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/mood_of_america/trust_on_issues/trust_on_issues

"American voters now trust the Democrats on all ten key electoral issues tracked regularly by Rasmussen Reports. Last month, the GOP’s had an advantage on two issues.

Not surprisingly, the economy is still seen as the most important issue in this year’s presidential campaign--76% of voters say it is a Very Important issue. The Democrats now have a 14-point advantage over the Republicans on this issue, up from eight-points a month ago. Data from the Rasmussen Consumer Index shows that consumer confidence is currently hovering near record lows. Not only is confidence low, three-out-of-four Americans believe that economic conditions are getting worse.

Government Ethics and Corruption is a Very Important issue for 71% of Likely Voters. The Democrats have a huge advantage on this issue—45% now trust them while just 26% prefer the GOP. That lead has also widened since last month, when the Democrats had only a six-point advantage.

Perhaps the biggest surprise comes from the fact that Democrats are now trusted more when it comes to National Security and the War on Terror, an issue long considered a GOP stronghold. The latest polling, however, shows that 49% of voters now trust the Democrats more on this issue while 42% trust the Republicans more. This shift comes at the same time that confidence in the War on Terror has fallen significantly."

6. He is stronger than Bush now but not when Bush was running
Edited on Thu Jun-12-08 05:54 AM by Galway girl
Bush had youth , His father's reputation and millions of Right wing nut jobs to vote for him . All Mccain has is a POW record and bipartisanship.

He is rude
Quite ugly (Looks do matter)
You wouldn't pick him to go for a beer with
No clue of economics
Doesn't understand Iraq
Not that popular amongst Republicans
He even left his first wife when she needed him most for a trophy bride who was loaded

This guy is a complete Slime maggot and before this ois over the world will know it . The GE was between Hillary and Obama !!

7. GOP tried to exploit Rev. Wright in 3 of the most conservative
congressional districts and LOST!

Obama has beaten both the Democratic Establishment and the Corporate Media (at times). He is single-handedly going after the Republicans' *perceived* greatest strength: national security, and taking them on. For years, the Democrats have reluctantly and cowardly targeted the GOP on their failed foreign policy. And he has the political capital to do so because he opposed the war. I don't think Hillary would have been able to argue the point effectively because she voted for the IWR, against the Levin-Reed amendment, and for Kyl-LIEberman. Her record is too much like McDumbya on foreign policy issues. With Obama, there is a clear distinction and a clear choice.

Either choose Grandpa McDumbya or opt for True Change.

14. #12: The GOP ain't vottin'. They're staying home. They don't vote for losers.
I know alot of people who keep saying "there aren't any good options." They're already promising to skip elections for a while.

They really can't stomach voting for a loser, or a librul black winner.

So, they're staying home.

15. That's fine with me . They didn't like Kennedy because he was Catholic
The choice is simple vote for the same or something else . Deep down you know what's going to happen and when that day comes it will feel wonderful . Like seeing the sun after 8 years of rain
