Anyone have a link regarding authenticity of Kerry film footage?

There was a nasty anti-Kerry letter in my local newspaper. The whole premise of the article was that his convention mini-doc used faked footage to illustrate Vietnam scenes.

I remember it being an issue that came up, but quite frankly I was too busy at the time to pay attention to the controversy. It smelled like a Repub smear tactic to me, so I just paid no attention to the fallout.

I just did a Yahoo! search to try to find evidence to the contrary, but all I came up with was shit from Limbaugh, Fox, News, etc...saying it WAS fake. I know there MUST be something out there to refute that.

I know some wonderful DUer will have a link to something to help me put that chimp-loving, letter writing misanthrope in their place!

2. Here's my two bits

I was deployed overseas 3 times while in the Army - I took lots of pictures and even some video of me - it's what you do in your 20's. I'm sure if I ran for Prez 30 years from now someone who didn't like me would say it is "faked". It's an easy charge to make.
