Some Hillary supporters piss me off
I was just on another board. There is this one poster that said that she was a Hillary supporter and she just could not vote for Obama. She said he creeps her out when she sees him. Then she say I don't know why. I just can't look at him. ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....What is it? She can't vote for the big, scary black man? People like that get on my nerves. If you don't like him for a specific reason that is one thing. However, to just say you don't know why that he just creeps you out gets on my nerves! If you are racist, say that! If you don't think he gives enough details, say that! If you want mandatory health care, then say that. If you are pissed because Hillary did not win, then say that! Goodness. Sorry for the vent. That poster just got on my nerves.........

5. I'm trying. I haven't been going after them or anything. That poster just got on my nerves talking
about how she was terrified of him. For the most part her supporters have been nicer. I have tried to do the whole party unity thing too. That one person just really got on my nerves.......

2. Strange, isn't it? Most of those who threaten to write in Hillary, stay home, or vote McCain,
can't seem to come up with a good reason why. And considering how similar Obama is to Hillary on most issues, I don't know that there is a good reason. I'm not gonna psychoanalyze these people and claim that they're all subconsciously prejudiced, but there's definitely something screwy at work in their thinking.

3. Since it's not cool to be a racist any more, people look for ways to hide it.
Some examples:

"People won't vote for a black man."

"I can't vote for him, his middle name is Hussein."

"Obama sounds too much like Osama."

"Why didn't he wait his turn?"

And of course, the popular

"I'm not a racist, but..."

Which usually precedes the above examples.

15. And the intense scrutiny on Obama's non-verbals. Remember when they wigged-out and
thought that he was either "flipping them off" or "flashing a gang sign" ... when Obama was merely using his index finger to scratch the side of his face?

Too funny! :spray:

Why not confront the poster in question on the board where she made these remarks?

10. Racists come in a myriad of disgusting *flavors.*
When I was a young woman in the 2nd year of ROTC, some lily white guy in our cadet lounge came directly up to me and asked, "What are you?"

I retorted, "What are you talking about?"

He persisted, "WHAT ARE YOU? Are you Mexican or Arab ... WHAT?"

I replied, "If you venture over to Europe and pick Germany as half of me, then the other half would come from other countries in that area."

The guy seemed put-off by my lack of a One or Two Country response and said, "YEAH, you look like a greasy European. You're skin is way too dark to have been born with blue eyes. Are you wearing contacts?"

At that point I walked out of the lounge ... and the building. I was both shocked and disgusted at the thought of people being so mean-spirited toward those who don't look EXACTLY LIKE them. :scared:

My point: Who knows why people FEEL the way they do. If they had a bad experience with a certain ethnic group, I would hope that they could TRY and reflect enough so as to not extrapolate that one individual's poor behavior on an entire group of humanity. We can always HOPE?

Hope springs eternal. ;)

11. hey did anyone notice that street has two lanes?
The only difference is, Hillary isn't running for President any more and life among adults is a lot more complicated than just "pissed off because (your BRILLIANT reasoning goes here)"

Sorry for the vent. Well, not really.

Come on guys! Let It Go.

13. Some people won't be able to vote for Obama. No use getting upset about them....
Just concentrate on the supporters who are open to reconsidering Obama.

Sometimes the best thing you can do is wish someone the best and let them just pass on by.

22. To be fair
I can't stand looking at McCain. He creeps me out, and it has nothing to do with his skin color. lol

On the other hand, I think Obama is hot, but his intelligence is as much an attraction to me as his physical appearance.
