I meant to congratulate you immediately after Hillary's speech today, but I ended up having some work commitments come up, which kept me busy all day. I just got done watching Hillary's fine presentation, which Mrs mtnsnake taped for me earlier.

If Barack Obama is half as good as I think he is, he'll make one hell of a president after he kicks John McCain's ass this November. The only thing we have to be careful of is that we don't underestimate McCain as a competitor and that we don't make any blatant mistakes that we can't take back. From what I've seen so far, Obama is VERY careful about things, so I don't think we'll have anything to worry about.

The environment cannot stand another term of Republican abuse and neglect, and I'm confident that after Obama is elected, he will resurrect all of the environmental laws that were put into place during the Clinton administration, which were then flushed down the toilet during BratBoy's regime the minute that beady-eyed fucker took office in 2000. I'm also confident that Barack will go the route of Dennis Kucinich, diplomacy wise, and talk things over before pulling the trigger on some other country. In this respect, he will not only be good for our country, but he will be good for the entire world. That's the way I hope it plays out anyway.

In addition to being confident that we should all be eager to support such a charismatic, inspirational, and smart man as Barack Obama, I'm especially happy today for African Americans all over this country. This is going to be EXTRA wonderful for them, and it's about fucking time that something like this happened. In a similar sense, it would have been equally wonderful for women if Hillary had won, but she didn't, so after Obama's two terms, we'll have to work on getting a Democratic woman elected. Maybe it will be Hillary after Obama's 2 successful terms are up, or maybe it'll be some other Democratic woman who was inspired by her. Either way, I think that both Obama and Hillary are going to be rock stars for eternity, just as Bill Clinton is/was/and will continue to be.

BTW, I am also here to eat my crow, but hurry up and serve it to me soon because I am not usually around too much once Summer gets here. :)

Oh, and fuck any Repukes looking in because your all washed up now! GOBAMA!!!

One last thing. I categorically deny that there is any truth to the rumor that I am going to be the next pastor of Barack's new church, but I will not rule out the possibility if he asks me to fulfill that role. It will be one hell of a church, I promise you. :smoke:

We got through a very hard fought primary contest that began as an embarrassment of riches with so many good candidates. It boiled down to two who could have inspired most Democrats and gotten the job done. We survived as a party with a common set of principles to restore America. We emerged with a tested nominee and a very passionate group of supporters who will unite for the one we have finally selected. We have very beatable opponent who cannot hold a candle to our two final choices. It feels good to be together again.

I've often read your posts re Hillary and thought, "Man, if I were running for office, this is definitely the guy I'd want on my side."

Between Obama's speech on Tuesday and Hillary's today, I would imagine the busiest person in the GOP tonight is the guy writing McCain's concession speech - in anticipation of the inevitable.

One note, to all the Right wingers who read this (and I know you are there) keep this in mind, what you saw in the Democratic party was a boxing match, a hard brutal brawl, but still something of a sport between two sides that wanted to do things honorably...When we go after YOU, there will be no Marquis de Queensbury rules, no padded gloves. We did not want to destroy each other, we DO want to destroy YOU.
