Hillary supporters likely to vote do you think will actually vote for McStain? (I'm actually curious to know your opinion on this.)
Hillary's speech today is the exact opposite of what she felt up to a week ago, it's a good bet she didn't even write it herself, and now we're supposed to kiss her ass? Anyone who wants to pucker up is free to do so, but I sure as hell won't.
My candidate didn't get nominated in 2004, and I voted for Kerry anyway. If Obama had lost, I'd vote for Hillary (even though I honestly loathe her), because the alternative is someone even less stable than Bush.
Yes, some people might stay home instead of supporting Obama, but think of all the conservatives that will stay home because Fred Thompson or whatever the other conservatives of choice were lost. McStain is not anyone who excites conservatives, especially with his stance on illegals.
I don't have the exact numbers, but if memory serves Hillary got about 18 million votes. A fair amount of those were Rush Limpballs supporters who think the electoral process is a game for Rush's amusement, but let's assume that 15 million actually voted for Hillary. I think we both know that those 15 million won't all vote for McStain, so what do you mean, mathematically, when you say "go it alone?"

This has been such an emotional roller coaster for so many of us. Just like the few people booing at the mention of Barack Obama during Hillary's speech just now, its just venting. It will all calm down soon, but some people just need to let their frustration out. Of course, any racist or sexist comments against either candidate (or anyone for that matter) should be alerted. Other than that, it will take a bit of time for every one to start trusting one another's intentions again.

actions speak louder than words.
she has been rather treacherous before--why should I believe everything is going to be different now? she got the word that she better "make nice" if she wants the continued support of the Democratic big-wigs, but that doesn't guarantee that she'll keep it up.
I reserve my right to bash any "Democrat" who is really a DINO--Lieberman is a good example. That snake had the audacity to run as a "Democrat" VP candidate--now look at him, now that he's a "former Democrat"--he's endorsing McLame.
But nobody is "sacred"--if Democrats need to be called out on their bullshit, we should be able to "speak" freely.
