I do not take regimented orders. I do not drink Kool-aid. I do not take loyalty oaths. I am not a robot. I am not owned. I do not think what people tell me to think. I don't tow the line.

I am my own woman. I have my own opinions and ideas.

This is still (what's left of) America. I support the free exchange of ideas and savor discussion with people across the spectrum - even if we don't agree. I don't need to clear my comments with Barack Obama or anyone else before I say them.

If I find behavior of elected/campaigning officials inappropriate, I will say so.
If I believe someone is damaging my beloved Democratic party, I will say so.
If I feel someone is undermining our nominee, I will say so.

Our nominee has made the decision to say only positive things about his opponent, despite not receiving the same in return. But I am FIERCELY supportive, protective, and loyal to my nominee and anyone standing in his way will at a MINIMUM receive an earful from me on a daily basis.

What's more, part of the biggest problem with the Bush administration is that they don't accept or allow differing opinion. That is DANGEROUS thinking. It's not a concept that Barack Obama supports and I know that Barack Obama would NEVER attempt to tell me what I can and cannot say as an American citizen.

Take note: I will not be bullied by anyone, not republicans, not neo-cons, and definitely not Hillary supporters. I respect the contributions Hillary has made to our country. But that does not make her infallible or incapable of wrong-doing. If Hillary or her supporters behave in a way I find in appropriate, expect to hear about it from me.

Support? Blind support? Military support? Financial support? Support for everything-- regarldess of action or consequence? Or more a well-reasoned, conditional support as we do with all politicians? Does policy disagreement count as "no support"? So I'm afraid I really can't answer a simplistic question with a simplistic answer as neither can be quite so simplistic in their fundamental natures.

Seems a rather binary system to me-- I was always under the impression that politics was a complicated beast, with the nuances of principle and idealism constantly battling the pragmatic realities of Washington life.


However... like has been done so cleverly numerous times in this thread, I'm sure someone will infer an absolute answer from what I've said (a secular version of Biblical literalism, maybe?)-- and I understand that; it's easier for people to categorize "allies" and "enemies", never realizing that everyone is a little bit of both...
