Do you think that Senator Clinton could possibly run as an independent?

Her language last night about her 18,000,000 voters needing to be respected, etc. and refusal to conceed was a bit frightening. I guess in a way I can see her trying as hard as she possibly can to strong arm Presumptive Nominee Obama into it and if he says no (which I would if I were him), she might claim that her "voters" haven't been respected and that she "owes" it to them to run for "their" issues. Look at the behavior of the Clintons over the years. I don't doubt for one momemnt they would consider doing this. Do you all think she could run as an indy? My mom, who I spoke to last night, thinks that it is possible. Does anybody know the deadlines for getting your name on the ballot in GE states? Would she have the neccessary infrastructure? I'm sure that the democratic establishment in many states would do all they can to keep her off the ballot the way they do Nader but the damage that she could do would still be profound. Also, remember, that she feels betrayed and that something that was "her turn to get" and that she was "entitled to" has been "stolen" from her and she probably thinks that if only MI/FL had counted, she'd be the nominee. I put nothing past her.

The above is how I imagine her feeling and with Bill and his delusional language on the trail all year long, I kind of question their mental state right now.

That said, she'd compete with Mccain for the GOP vote and our nominee would have an huge independent and democratic base to draw from while HRC and Mccain duke it out for the fringe votes.

She can't run and neither can Ron Paul. Sore loser laws are effective in two key states - Ohio and Texas. And you can't possibly win the presidency without the electoral votes of those two states.
