Obama Can End This Drama In A Heart Beat If He Picks A VP Now.
With all the drama going with Queen Hillary, Obama should just come out as soon as humanly possible with his VP pick (who should not be her) and that would put all this to bed and quick.

Hillary will then be seen as someone who is simply insignificant in this GE race.

1. Announcing the VP search committee has the same result.
Next step will be listing the possible running mates. :)

5. Especially since anybody who wants to be Veep
has to talk to Caroline Kennedy.

I bet that burned Hillary up a bit when she heard that one.

She now has to bow and scrape to a Kennedy if she REALLY wants the job.

12. Exactly. There is no way he needs to be rushed to pick a VP b/o a temper tantrum..
this is a good move on his part and Caroline was a brilliant addition :-)

15. Sebelius. Woman. Dem governor of GOP state. Not a senate seat to put at risk.
HRC would hate it.

2. He announced a selection committee today
Headed by Caroline Kennedy

Sorry for the Fox link - first one I found but - I think the committee sends a message all on it's own. If he was going to tap Clinton why even form a committee?

4. He's working on it.
Just announced this morning that he's picked a 3 person committee to help him with VP selection. Caroline Kennedy is one of the three, the other two haven't been named yet, to my knowledge.

16. Actually, that Nichols guy is on the committee, too.
He was put in charge of vetting O's VP choices a while ago.

He's the one who was in charge of vetting for Mondale - and he learned from the mistake of picking Ferraro after Fritz' first choice, Dianne Feinstein, didn't make the cut.

6. I don't think he will be forced to move on his VP choice because...
of the push for Hillary to be VP. He will do as he has done throughout his campaign, choose the right time and the right person to outmaneuver the repubs, imo.

9. No, never, never....do you think that hillary and bill could be vetted
to run for vp...they have to tell all...they really do have too much garbage in their past and present..and that is just one reason...there are so many more...

10. Obama is doing the right thing. Let's all see how unreasonable HRC is.
I am tired of media asking what Hillary wants, she lost, period.

13. He deserves the chance to give this decision the time it deserves.
I'd prefer that he pick well before the convention, but he can still take several weeks.

14. He has to vet a vp canidate
We do not need another Geraldine Ferraro incident.. :)..I am old enough to remember what a circus that was, and it is what sunk Walter Mondale.. and if it were Hillary, the vetting would have to include Bill..because that is a 2 for 1 forever..

17. More Hillary obsession
The smart thing to do of course is to take ones time and look through all the potential candidates one by one and make an accurate assessment.

Fortunately, Obama doesn't appear to worry with Hillary nearly as much as people here (or on FR for that matter).
