Why Hillary had her rally at Baruch College
Hillary had her rally in the BASEMENT of Baruch College last night. Many people have speculated that she went underground there to keep her supporters from using cell phones, laptops, and watching television.

I have a different view of it.

It's all about symbolism.

While Obama was in the same arena the Republicans will be in September for their convention, he was symbolizing that he is in their home court.

Hillary, on the other hand, chose to go to Baruch College. Barack = Baruch. Remember he said Baruch is his name in Hewbrew?

By GOING UNDERGROUND, she was signaling that she is about to go underground, under the surface, below the belt, deep in the basement on Barack. She is going to launch an underground uprising against his nomination and then act shocked, shocked! when her disrupters try to force her on to the ticket and possibly hijack the nomination.

THAT is why she had her rally underground at Baruch College.

9. I remember hearing that years ago when I played their albums backward.....
and I thought "Who is Hillary?" and "What convention?"

Finally it makes sense.

4. wow...
it couldn't be that it was probably a free, donated space that could hold enough people....
that's what she's been using a lot...donated space.

and that she wanted to be in NY to sleep in her own bed for a change because she was to be in DC this morning to speak at the AIPAC meeting.

5. By that logic Obama's choice of location indicates he'll be the Republican nominee.

7. Like * did to the nation, Hillary put her people in an information-free cave.
And then told everybody, "We're winning! Don't worry about the people we're not listening to. They have nothing good to say, they only want to discourage you from staying the course to victory".

McClellan cited Bush's infinite ability for self-deception. Looks like he's not the only one.

11. I wasn't too sure about that... I understood it completely different.
Baruch is a well known Woman's college, actually one of the most prestigious in the world. Her entire camp towards the end was towards the unjust sexist media and Obama. I figured that it was to show sisterhood and unity through that. Not really much towards Obama as a person.

12. It's a branch of CUNY, the college of NYC
http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/

It is not - look at the picture of graduates - a women's college. I think it is best known for the business school.

14. Oh crap..you're right. What's even sadder I go to the CUNY Graduate School

When I read Baruch I kept thinking Barnard. My fault.

You're right it is the business school. I hate that school get's all the damn funding while all the other schools like City College (this school used to send it's rejects to NYU or Harvard) gets nothing. Damn....okay rant over. Huh, maybe the OP is right about the Baruch thing. Crazy.
