Hillary: "I know that Senator Obama will be a good friend to Israel".
AIPAC speech on MSNBC now.

"I believe we need a Democrat in the White House next January".

Now she's bashing McCain.

She's trying, folks.

Let's meet her half way?

2. Words are one thing, actions another. She needs to officially concede.

5. She's angling for a leadership position...
And, frankly, she deserves one. I don't always like her or agree with her policies, but I cannot deny that nearly 50% of Dems voted for her. That should count for something. I'm not saying VP, because I'm not sure that what she adds to the ticket, compensates for her negatives, but she should be worked into the administration somewhere.

6. Look what her surrogates are saying. They are talking VP
not leadership position.

12. Of course they are. That doesn't mean they're going to get it.
She needs to be fully vetted, as any VP candidate would be. If she doesn't want to submit to that, well, that's an immediate disqualification for VP consideration. But in that instance, a cabinet position should be at least offered to her.

9. Maybe
I've been for a unity ticket, but she needs to concede first. A VP slot is not a co-presidency.

4. IMO she's trying to get on the ticket.
She should've started being gracious when it was obvious her campaign was TOAST.

She needs to bow the fuck out.

10. If I were Barack, given the way she's gone about it...
I wouldn't give her the VP spot even if I knew for a FACT that I couldn't win without her (which we all know is total bullshit).

"I do not want any Vice Presidential relations with that Woman, Hillary Clinton..."

13. She is NOT the nominee, and will NOT be the president. She is having
problems coming to terms with that

8. thank goodness. Good for her.
Honestly, it wouldn't take much for her to be redeemed in my eyes, since I have such low expectations of her. It's just troubling because whenever I go into one of her speeches with low expectations, she still manages to stun me...I guess I'm naive.

14. She will.
I do wonder if she feels as if she let her supporters down by not running a better campaign.

I think that part of this is political maneuvering, but I do think that a significant part is loyalty to her supporters.

16. I agree, she ran a terrible campaign, and I do not believe her advisors
served her well during the campaign

In New Hampshire when she demonstrated her human side, that could have made ALL the difference, and I am NOT referring to her tears. If she would have continued in that way, perhaps things would have been different

15. Every time I expect her..
to do the right thing, she fails. This is no longer about the nomination. She has lost. Now she is another Democrat, like any other Democrat. She continues to tear down, while Obama continues to lift up. It is time for her to resume her role as the Junior Senator from New York.

17. Nice start, but the thinly veiled slams against Obama and her intentional contrasting doesnt help
Until she concedes and promotes unity within the party behind our nominee, the hate and flames will not die down. She's only stoking the fire at this point.
