2. She CAN do something --

She can spend between now and August appealing to Super D's to switch to her, trying to convince them she's the best one to beat McCain.

In the meantime, her supporters will naturally want to keep supporting her - hoping for a favorable outcome.

If that happens, there will be warring between the to candidates that continues, rather than warring between the Dems and the Reps.

She can do a LOT.

She could have saved face by conceding gracefully a month or two ago. Or even tonight.

But no. She's run a bitter campaign of entitlement, just hoping something would happen.

At some point, when a team is losing at the end, it's classier to take a knee in the final seconds rather than keep chucking passes downfield in the hopes that you'll lose by 21 instead of 28.
