3. That was the most honest thing I have ever heard on CNN.
Gergen came behind him and tried to clean it up....but too late!

Toobin was telling the uncensored truth.

the crowds Obama can. He'll get his largest crowd on the day of the rethug national convention.

37. Just keep in mind
Harold Ford is a politician from Tennessee. Something tells me Tennessee will overwhelmingly vote for McCain. If Harold Ford does not give some lip service to the candidate his state will undoubtedly overwhelmingly support, he can kiss his political future in that state goodbye.

Other than that, I agree with everything else on this thread about Harold Ford. He's become a typical DLC'er. He knew Hillary Clinton had this in the bag, and so he has openly promoted her best interests, thinking all the time he was cementing his political future. It is so interesting to observe him changing positions and moving toward Obama.

Oh well, it is politics....

11. The annoying speaker factor will work against McCain
I've noticed that people who have an annoying voice tend to lose just because no one wants to have to hear that for four years. My theory is that if Dukakis had Reagan's voice, he would be president now.

32. That speech was beyond bad. . . It totally creeped me out
All I could think of was one of those pervert priests trying to convince a group of altar boys to come into the back room with him. Super smarmy and accompanied by that weird smile. EEEW!!! He made Nixon look like an Eagle Scout.
