Do the candidates get the questions for debates ahead of time?
I cant wait till the debates... but i only wished that we got to see Bush's REAL responses and not some that have been beaten into his head by his handlers...
so do you know if these debates with Kerry they will get the questions or topics before hand??? Tia

1. Don't you think that Bush will get them ahead of time?
I do. With Bush's control over the press it seems assured. Of course, Kerry won't.

3. But they will probably steal any materials Kerry uses to
prepare for the debates.

It has been done before. George Will stole stuff from Carter to help Reagan.

5. I don't think they'll get the questions, but they can anticipate most of
of them. Their handlers also work on how to answer (or not answer) the unanticipated question. That's why the debates are mostly boring. Both are heavily focused on not making a mistake, not on giving their best answer.

Ross Perot made the '92 debates more interesting because he knew he wasn't going to win the election, gave honest answers and challenged Clinton and poppy to match his insights and honesty.

7. Ask asshole * that same question about tribal sovereignty.
The asshole will say he already addressed it previously. In that jerk's pea-brain he probably thinks he gave a legitimate response.

8. He can't even hold one of his town meetings without handing out the
questions to be asked. He will, no doubt, demand to have the questions in advance or he will just refuse to participate.
