I certainly am. Their behavior at the RBC was immature and asinine. But some of the thread titles posts I'm seeing on GD-P are disgusting. I know there is a video of a woman making a racist comment. That is inexcusable. But so is lowering yourself to that level by calling her an "old hag" or "bitch" or some other gender-loaded insult. We all have mothers, aunts, and grandmothers that we wouldn't appreciate being described like that.


Take a breath, step away, and make some calls for Obama or send him a donation. We are better than this.*

A female dog, when applied to a human. And that hasn't changed just because you decree it so or because it's use has become more fluid, for example, in the same way a promiscuous man would jokingly be called a "ho." Nobody would let you get off the hook suggesting that the "N word" is now a poli-racial insult, either, for stereotypical set of behaviors. Inappropriate remains inappropriate.

Find another insulting name for the woman in the video that doesn't have a history rooted in bigotry and bias.
