Dems need to lay the ground work for the inevitable capture of Osama.
Edited on Fri Aug-13-04 05:42 PM by mzmolly
People here have mentioned before we need to start floating memes in the media:

"We've spent billions on the so called war on terror, and Osama is still at large, this is an outrage."

AND/OR

"We should have had Osama 2.5 years ago, instead we went to Iraq."

etc...

My husband has a friend in the military who said they have had Osama for a while and are pulling him out in time for the election.

Any thoughts on preparation so that it doesn't help * as much as it might in the minds of gullible Americans?

Dem-stratigist, if your tuned in ;)

1. You answered your own question, I think...
"they have had Osama for a while and are pulling him out in time for the election"

3. Won't it look just a little too convenient?
Sorta like Peterson's wife going missing.

4. you know what? I don't think
it will help him a bit (assuming he can bring in Osama--which I doubt). Getting Saddam didn't even help him for a week--Osama isn't going to do much more for him. He is toast. Just wait until F911 comes out on DVD!

5. That was my inclination in the earlier post
There have already been too many coincidences for him to skate by with capturing bin Laden right before the election. I could be wrong, but the level of skepticism about anything this administration says could effectively cause people to disbelieve the incrediby convenient timing of his capture.
