I swear to god that's what Bush just said. I'm watching to catch the Kerry rally and compare reactions etc. The man just said "that's the problem, the Columbia isn't deep enough to handle the big new ships". What an idiot. How can anybody respect somebody who treats people like they're 5 years old. He's not getting a wild reception, by the way. Very polite and mannerly. Kerry people are GOING WILD!! Kerry was in Springfield with DeFazio this AM. Very Good! He's going into the belly of the best in Oregon, first Medford, then Springfield. That should really make a difference.

2. OMG, it's PACKED!!!

They just showed a shot of Waterfront Park. Absolutely packed. WOW!

Bush is speaking at a school in Beaverton. Orderly little line, like a movie line. It's long, but nothing like what we've been seeing at Kerry events. Where people come just to be able to stand outside and hear something or show support. They don't have any signs or anything.
