He's John McCain's ace in the hole. Think of all those voters Joementum brings to the McCain camp. I envisaged Dems and Independents flocking to McCain once Joe lulls them in with his.... oh lord, I can't go on any longer. Damn, even Lieberman's own stepson said today that he was going to vote for Obama. Ouch.

Say it ain't so, Joe, say it ain't so.

I can tell you this, I have dreams that McCain would pick Lieberman as his running mate. Of course, I have dreams about it, because everytime I start thinking about McCain/Lieberman on the campaign trail it makes me fall asleep, but still, I have dreams.

Man, when you can't even bring your own stepson's vote along with you, that doesn't bode well. That's called pulling a Giuliani. Ok, I made that up.

The image that gave me.. it's scorched into my retinas. Just not pretty. That has to be the sickest thing said since Liz Trotta. :)

2. He's actually a charisma sink...
When he walks into a room, everyone inside instantly becomes duller.

6. Don't get too close!
Once you cross the "Charisma Event Horizon", your personality will never escape. It will be sucked into the charisma singularity.

Never again!

34. Yes. This is when suckiness reaches a magnitude
that becomes clinical and many are sucked into a different dimension, never to return.

8. It's his voice that grates on me.
Edited on Mon May-26-08 11:48 PM by mac2
He talks through his nose and drones on and on. He's boring and ugly. What charisma but money and power behind him? those in DC say he is very funny and entertaining.

They said Henry Kissinger was sexy too when he had power. Cosmopolitan magazine even talked about what good catch he was in DC.

I don't see it. If either were "ordinary citizens" women would brush them off.

Both are dangerous men to our democracy. That's what I see.

13. I would say a vortex
It has been said that Joe Lieberman once listened to a recording of him making a speech and he woke up 40 years later, just like Rip Van Winkle.

If McCain had problems with conservatives before, imagine what's going to happen if he names a former Democrat to the ticket.

7. The Problem with that (for the GOP) is that they
would have to campaign seperately, and John needs to have Joe there to whisper in his ear.

31. remember joe after the iowa caucus in 2004?
"We're in a 3 way tie for 3rd place!!!!!!" with a huge grin like he just conquered the Nazis by himself?

Translation: 5th place, not even that close to 4th place, and out of the race. Basically the moment when Joe's relevancy to the Democratic party ended.
