sheesh I'll admit it Obama has more class than me and I'm glad since he is the one running for President but using his class with regard to the assassination remark as a reason to move on from assassination talk, did I miss something, wasn't it Hillary and her supporters who basked in Bitter Gate and Pastor Gate and whatever other gate they could cling to, talk about hypocrites and what makes it worse is when the going gets tough for Hillary supporters they run away (not all) but we have heard the declarations on DU

Just because I support the man doesn't mean I have to be a carbon copy of him or vice versa. I'm in no way as even tempered as he is which is exactly why i'm glad he's running for president and not someone like me!

His focus, and level-headed calmness amidst all he's had to endure is VERY admirable. I think a lot of us support him because of that - NOT because we claim to be like him! I know I'm not. But I certainly admire those traits in him and realize those are what we need in a leader.

5. Just because Obama keeps himself above the fray

doesn't mean his supporters should refrain from stating the obvious.

Anyone who truly remembers the horror & sadness of the assassinations of 1968 wouldn't think deliberate references to them as trivial, off-hand remarks with no meaning.
