Hawaii polls go Kerry; problem of campaign bus tour averted
Hawaii, which nobody had polled before now, is showing a seven point lead for Kerry. According to the site I like, that puts Strong Kerry and Leaning Kerry at 264 EV, strong Bush and Weak Bush at 175 EV, too close to call 82 EV, and no polls available at 17 EV

1. Kerry would have had some major problems
if Hawaii was leaning towards *. That would have meant things were going really badly.

5. Hawaii was the first state to allow Gay Marriages
by rule of the State Supreme Court, though the State Legislation pushed through a law defining marriage as "between a man and a woman"

The court ruled the law unconstitutional, and thet've been fighting about it since.

Hawaii is, traditionally, very progressive.

4. Don't worry. Some polls are odd. There was one that showed us within 7 in
Indiana a while back.
