Ed Shultz on how to "gracefully" tell Hillary it's over
"Get out! It's over--you lost." Just heard him on his show a few minutes ago. He also said did they have to devise a graceful exit for Biden, Dodd, Richardson and the rest? Why should Hillary be any different. In other words when it's over it's over. Get out!

2. Her trying to leave gracefully at this point
is like you trying to leave a party "gracefully" after you've had too much to drink, puked on the living room carpet, and set the hostess' hair on fire.

9. This is Hilarious, DUers praising Ed.

Just a few weeks ago DUers were roasting him for having good things to say about Hillary and Obama.

Historically, DU has referred to Ed as a "Republican in disguise."

But when he lashes out at Hillary, he's a hero.

DU cracks me up.

On edit: Now Thom Hartmann (always very popular at DU) is pushing for an Obama/Clinton ticket.

Is Thom now our, "Republican in disguise?"

I always have.

21. Yes, I know nobody thinks a like around here.
What I meant was that Schultz pissed me off at one time in regards to Dean.

22. He's a radio host
And, of course, sometimes radio hosts say things people don't disagree with.

I've also heard him defend Dean on many occasions, and I know Dean has been on his show.

Like him or not, Schultz is one of the best radio friends we have. He comes from a midwestern sensibility, has great guests on and appeals to people outside the hive (unlike most of AAR).

In a sea of radio wingnuts endlessly parroting GOP talking points without giving them much thought, I will always defend Ed Schultz. He's cool in my book.

15. It is only the scale
of magnitude and the power of her disgruntled base that fog the simplicity of it all. This is a mindless, car skidding past its braking point(or in a brakeless skid!) and not the normal situation. She should concede though if she pretends to have any control any longer over her achievement and set her goals in concert with the good of party and nation- or her campaign loses all reason or merit completely- no matter what the argumentation of loyal supporters might be.

To maintain a difference is to crash and burn instead of stopping. It reminds me of that movie where a guy is delivering a car by cannonballing toward the west coast, becoming an unstoppable folk hero into he zooms full speed into the final police barrier. Not exactly the model of public service.
