During a time of war.
During a war he voted for.
During a war he totally supports.
During a war he said should last 100 years.

John McCain just stabbed every veteran in the back!!

1. He didn't vote against it. He said he was against it, but didn't show-up for the vote.
He was too busy raising money.

Meanwhile, both Hillary and President Obama flew all the way to D.C. to vote FOR the bill, after which President Obama flew all the way BACK to Florida to talk to a Synagogue.

McCain is not going to get much respect from Republicans in Idaho for this, let me tell ya.
They wanted Romney, they liked Huckabee, but they despise McCain.

2. Obama will bury him on this
I know he's going to be wary of going after the "War Hero" on matters of the military but I think it needs to be shown how McCain wears that as a badge to excuse some deplorable military policy.

3. He did stab veterans in the back, but........
We are not at war. The war is over. Saddam is dead. It is an occupation. The war on terror is a farce. Terrorism is a tactic not an enemy. The propagandists defined it that way to make the war unending so the privateers can continue to make money off of the backs of dead soldiers and civilians. We should be on a mission to get Bin Laden.

I do kick this thread. I just don't like the way this obscene situation is framed by the criminals in the White House and Pentagon. :dem:

6. some rich people don't give a shit if the poor enlisted veterans get a leg up
the only veteran he gives a shit about is himself

no one suffers like McCain, eh?

silver spooned, MF

When he rolled over on torture, he lost any hope of redemption

His tombstone should simply say "WHORE"

7. I hope groups such as the VFW pull their heads out of the sand
and recognize which candidate really supports veterans.

8. I have no respect for McCain, but can we please stop these rec this thread posts
I don't disagree with anything you said, but there has been way too many "rec this thread" posts lately and a lot of really thoughtful posts get buried below them. The greatest page is not necessarily for the posts that the most people agree with, it is supposed to be for the greatest posts. I agree with the content of your post, but if people are going to recommend it they should recommend it on the content not because they were told to recommend it.

9. Memorial Day is a day for remembering veterans past and present.
I won't be here on Memorial Day.

By the way, I've been telling people what to do for almost 30 years.
That doesn't mean they did it, but it didn't stop me from telling them either!

LoL
