People Need to Seriously Consider Polls Showing Obama as a Weaker Candidate in Certain Swing States
Because they demonstrate exactly why we all need to WORK HARDER for him in the general election.

The bottom line is this -- there is no such thing as "buyers' remorse" due to a couple of less-than-hopeful polls. Obama is and will continue to be our nominee. Please STOP posting polls showing that Clinton is stronger in places like FL, OH, and PA and GET TO WORK.

1. Hillary's campaign is DEAD.
Hillary's campaign is DEAD. It's done. Over. Finite. No mas. Caput.

You can continue mourning the dead or you can get on board and keep fighting the good fight. choice is yours.

15. They suffer from KDS.
Kneejerk Disorder Syndrome. It should have resolved itself by now, under the circumstances, but for some DU'ers it has become progressively worse. :)

21. no problem.
I suppose I should have been more clear. And I certainly don't mind clarifying.

It's just SOME PEOPLE like to pile on and make others feel as dumb as humanly possible even if the problem was a simple mis-communication.

Just look at Clinton's polls five months ago.

9. 100% right.
It is going to be an uphill battle for Obama in many of the swing states -- he will need every Democrat helping push him up those hills.

This is not going to be an easy election to win, but in can be done.

17. Uphill no matter who
Election fraud means we need massive numbers. Even if Hillary, experience issue with all her misstatements and high negatives an equal challenge - if not moreso.

People flock to Obama. We like him. He's bright, warm, nimble and very tough. However, no nirvana or magic pill. Just hard work

12. Time to apply energy elsewhere
If half the energy being spent talking about Obama's weaknesses in certain states was instead used to promote his campaign, he might have a better chance of being elected. Why not just say John McCain the same should get to run the country for the next four years. Sounds like that will make some Democrats very happy.

It is interesting to note that NO consideration has been given lately to the inherently large negatives that Clinton began her campaign with. I don't think she has won many Republicans or Independents over.

Yup! Some like it there.

"Please STOP posting polls showing that Clinton is stronger in places like FL, OH, and PA and GET TO WORK."

Wouldn't it be more comfortable with dark glasses and a seeing eye dog to lead you around FL, OH, and PA? Just wondering?

22. The 2000/2004 template is obsolete. It's a new day, a new electorate with Obama.
He will kick the ever lovin' shit out of McCain in his own new improved pathway to the White House.

Thanks for your concern.

24. Exactly. The point of the polls should be to see where we need to work
on putting him into the lead. They aren't a reason to second guess the nomination. Hillary has lost.
Her supporters who want a Dem in the WH in 2009 need to move on and help us win.

It's just not constructive to try and make people doubt the choice that has been made. Let's all work together
to WIN this time! :bounce:

25. Good or bad, preference polls are meaningless at this point. There is, of course,
work to be done in every state in the Union, but don't get too down or up about polls now.
