WASHINGTON - Undeclared presidential candidate Ross Perot was leading President Bush and Democratic frontrunner Bill Clinton in an opinion survey released yesterday, the first poll to put the billionaire in front.
The Time magazine/CNN campaign poll found 33 per cent of registered voters chose the Texas businessman, compared with 28 per cent for President Bush and 24 per cent for Arkansas Governor Clinton.
In a two-way race, Mr Bush led Mr Clinton 38 per cent to 35 per cent.
But the poll of 917 voters found 27 per cent of Mr Clinton's supporters and 25 per cent of President Bush's supporters in a two-way race would back Mr Perot in a three-way contest.

Oh nooooooooeeeees! Make Tsongas the nominee! Clinton is unelectaaaaaaaaaablllllle!
STFU.
And another, Boston Globe May 5, 1992:
n the new poll, which included 1,301 interviews with likely voters from Thursday through Sunday nights, Bush was favored by 33 percent, and Clinton and Perot by 30 percent each. Seven percent were undecided. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
A week ago, a New York Times/CBS News poll found Bush leading with 38 percent to 28 percent for Clinton and 23 percent for Perot. The Newsweek poll, completed on Friday, had Bush at 38 percent, Clinton at 27 and Perot at 22.
When Bush was matched against only Clinton by Times Mirror, he led by 46 to 43 percent, down from 50 to 43 percent a month ago.
---SNIP---
So, STFU.

...you mean, you've forced yourselves to forget about President Perot? Polls PROVE Obama would struggle to beat McCain. They PROVE what a sexist campaign he's run. Just as they PROVED what would happen in 1992.
