Mirror, mirror on the wall, what's the dumbest line of all?
How about, "if only we could be like Republicans," again repeated today in Maysville, Ky.:

She also dismissed Democratic nominating rules requiring proportional allocation of delegates from primaries and caucuses, rather than the winner-take-all system used by the Republicans.

“If we had the same had same rules as the Republicans, I would be the nominee right now,” she said.

Wait, maybe the "electoral college" argument is even dumber:

“The states that I’ve won total 300 electoral votes,” she told about 300 people in a high school gymnasium in Maysville, the birthplace of the actor George Clooney. “The question is who can win 270 electoral votes? My opponent has won states totaling 217 electoral votes.”

Then again, trashing those redder-than-red caucus states where there are Dem. governors and other important party holdings might be worse:

As she has in the past, she discounted Mr. Obama’s victories in caucus states and states likely to vote Republican in November, ticking off Alaska, Utah, Nebraska, Kansas and Idaho. “Many of his votes and delegates come from caucus state which have a relatively low turnout,” she said.

2. "This is nowhere near over."
She'll be peddling these arguments for at least another two or three weeks.

3. I doubt it. She'll probably be in the race for another 2.5 weeks
but she'll stop parroting most of that stuff within a week or so. Why? On Wednesday Obama will be only 45 delegates away from clinching it. And frankly, I wouldn't be at all shocked if he wrapped it up before the end of the month. In any case, even if you're right, 3 weeks isn't long.

7. I would think...
that, from a superdelegate's point of view, spouting this garbage would make me even less likely to commit to her.

10. I heard this rumor at a friends house last night.
This is only the word on the street. I don't believe it but I heard it and so I will repeat it. The decision has already been made for Hillary to run for president with Mr. Obama as Vice President. Don't shoot me, I'm only repeating what I heard someone say. No, I don't know where they get this stuff.

Raebrek!!!
