I'm an Obama supporter, but...

I think the caucuses are undemocratic and unAmerican, and that therefore, the results of the caucuses should be deleted from this primary season, and only the delegates won from primaries should count (and that includes the Michigan and Florida primaries, obviously).

Furthermore, I think that Obama has had an unfair advantage in this race, since he's smarter, better organized, and an overall savvier campaigner than Hillary is. Those factors should not count, as they simply are not relevant to the outcome of the general election.

I'm saying all this as a very devout and loyal Obama supporter.

Hillary really should automatically get 50% more delegates, to make up for the obvious disadvantages deriving from the possession of a vagina. If these rules had been observed, Hillary would be the nominee without question, which is the way it should be (though I hasten to add that I AM an Obama supporter).

you'd have to change lots to make us a true democracy.

The party loves caucuses because it encourages active party members. You have to do something besides show up to vote to participate in a caucus. Those who volunteer, canvas, donate, GOTV, those are the people who participate in caucuses and we need them to win in November.

Anyone can vote in a primary. If "the other side" wanted to screw with us, they could vote for a weak dem candidate (ala what Rush was advocating this time) and we'd be screwed.

I like this system. I like this year's election. I love how we've picked our candidate this year. (a tad unfortunate for the Clintons. They need to do some repair and I trust they will.)

The media has talked dems non stop all year. McCain is already a has been.

You or anyone can be against the caucuses. But, once the rules are in place and all candidates agree to them then you just can't go around later and start changing the rules. Maybe they should go, I don't know or shouldn't go, but now isn't the time for this.
