1. Really, I think people are seeing through this strategy
They've used it way too often and it's beginning to backfire. This is especially true since Bush has been been repeating incessantly that "'murikins/'murika is safer." Now he says we're not safe?

Jeez. How stupid are we, Dubya?

2. Who was that saying "America is safer" all last week?
Funny looking guy...beady eyes...used to be a drunk....I know the name will come to me in a minute....

You know who I mean, the guy who says his opponent is a flip-flopper....He was in that Michael Moore movie....

5. Bush reminds me of
the villian from 'Marathon Man'

he keeps screaming the word 'safe' but you have no idea what it means except that it is scary as hell and you wish he wasn't in control of the situation.

7. And after he was skewered by Jon Stewart on The Daily Show, too
"America is safer."

"America is safer!"

"America...is safer"

"But, America is safer."

As Jon also once said, it's like they think we're retarded.

8. Bush is right--Americans are not safe as long as he's in the White House
Edited on Sat Aug-07-04 04:22 PM by SemperEadem
he even admitted as much a few days ago. The truth slipped out of his mouth because the truth will out eventually.

What gets on my nerves with him is when he utters a sentence and then gets a look on his face of "they're buying it!!! they're buying it!!!! Lemme try another one!!!"

13. Good Thing Bush Didn't Stonewall The 9/11 Commission
I'd to have him be accused as an obstructionist. I'm so glad he thought up the Department of Homeland Security all by himself, and rushed it through with or without the right to organize.

Can you imagine what the 9/11 recommendations would be like if Henry Kissinger was running the show?

14. His sworn, open testimony was impressive as well
and who doesn't have confidence in the capable officials he has appointed, who would never use their offices for political purposes.
