Obama campaign hires 400 bloggers to act nice...

What has Obama done for you recently? Has the Hope+Change (TM) ad campaign gotten a little old? This manipulation is so Rovian and so unnecessary when 90 % of the media is selling you as a product (and you have been directing money--(Soros' deep pockets??--to women's issues (NARL) and poverty issues (John Edwards' college for everyone) in exchange for endorsements. Is this the "change" our aspirations are taking a chance on?

According to Fox News, so question the source, but posted on Hillbuzz:

"The Obama campaign has hired 400 bloggers to influence the public discourse and sway Hillary voters to "remember we are all Democrats", to give up Clinton's cause, and to become dutiful citizens of the Obama Nation.

Also, it's been noted by several HillBuzz readers, that Obama volunteers are being told to ratchet down the anti-Hillary hate, because someone in the campaign realizes Hillary Clinton supporters are not very likely to support Obama if he becomes the nominee.

HillBuzz firmly believes Hillary Clinton will be the Democratic nominee, because Hillary Clinton will win the popular vote when all of these contests are done. We feel the Obama campaign knows this as well, hence all the machinations to suppress Clinton's vote in West Virginia and Kentucky, and shut this race down before Puerto Rico's primary."

Edited on Thu May-15-08 09:22 PM by ErinBerin84
Ignoring that Fox news is the source for a moment...God forbit the campaign tries to make an attempt at unity. Both campaigns should do that! It sets a good example for everyone else. I think that HillBuzz is paranoid about the Hillary campaign "being shut down". People don't really care if she goes through PR, because they know that it won't make a difference.

Dems grant access to 55 bloggers for convention

DENVER (AP) — Democrats have chosen 55 bloggers who will be granted access to the national convention in Denver this summer.

The "State Blogger Corps" includes one blogger from each state plus the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, and one blogger representing Democrats abroad.

Party officials say the list, announced Wednesday, includes some full-time professional bloggers and some part-timers and volunteers.

They were chosen from among more than 400 applications.

Democrats say other bloggers will get credentials as part of a general pool, but party officials haven't said how big the pool will be nor what access it will have.
