It's over we won
That 90% everyone spoke of just went to 100%. It's over, and we won. I feel for all the supporters of other candidates because I'd feel like crap right now if Obama were standing in Edwards'(future AG) shoes.

Edwards is the final nail in the coffin. I assume most of his delegates will flock to Obama if they haven't already. Mississippi shows us we can compete anywhere. In a Republican +10 district we won. I'm really excited for the fall.

That said, Hillary will only shame herself by continuing at this point. I don't hate her at this point, I pity her. I really am not concerned with her supporters threatening to leave. By this Fall, we will have successfully portrayed McCain as a warmonger fossil. The Hillary supporters can either coalesce behind the candidate or fight the wave; make no mistake, we will take the Fall now that the Democrats have found their candidate. If a Dem can win in a Mississippi district, we will win in the Fall.

I'm pumped! Gobama!

P.S.: Mods, it's time. The charade is over and he is the nominee.

1. I'm Amazed At How Some Think The Race Is Different Today, Than It Was Yesterday.
It's kinda odd how this is being put forth as something having a hundred times more gravity than it actually does. It's making some here look really quite stupid imho.

7. Exactly.
It's been over since March, right after Ohio and Texas, when the math became impossible for Clinton.

12. Really, it hasn't changed
It doesn't change the fact that Hillary lost.

Edwards's endorsement is the final nail in the coffin.

19. Looking in the mirror again, huh?
C'mon OMC, the truth doesn't hurt THAT bad.

Now, before you forget while preparing your childish retort, please take BOTH feet out of your mouth so we can understand your insult.

I'm sure it will be breathtakingly witty.

threatening to walk.

If that's the way they truly feel, don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya.

18. Oh dear, dear me.
The vagaries of womanhood.

I guess if you can insult people for being young it's OK to insult you for being a woman, right? I mean you wouldn't want a double standard going, would you?

10. What, has the name of this place changed today?
And who is this "we" you refer to? There are many people in the place, supporting many different candidates in the dem primaries. Your exclusion of so many of them is offensive.

11. "We" as in us Democrats.
We are still a we, as far as I'm concerned. There are no more candidates, only the Democratic nominee Barack Obama. He's our candidate.
