20. No. To raise money for the general election.
"Washington, DC -Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean
announced today that the DNC has signed a joint fundraising agreement
with the Clinton and Obama campaigns. As part of the agreement, a new
entity, "Democratic White House Victory Fund," has been formed. The fund will allow both candidates to raise money for the Party, forming one joint fundraising committee account that will accept money for the
nominee's primary and general election and for the DNC."

15. I don't mind Obama paying her vendors, but her loan money is her loss.
Can't have small business owners saying that Dems are cheap.

But in no way do I want my money going in her pocket.

That was where this started. Maybe they got something worked out.

Obama and Dean worked out a deal earlier. McCain has the same with the RNC

18. DNC Release here:
Dean Announces Joint Fundraising Agreement with Clinton and Obama Campaigns

Washington, DC -Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean
announced today that the DNC has signed a joint fundraising agreement
with the Clinton and Obama campaigns. As part of the agreement, a new
entity, "Democratic White House Victory Fund," has been formed. The fund
will allow both candidates to raise money for the Party, forming one
joint fundraising committee account that will accept money for the
nominee's primary and general election and for the DNC.

"The Democratic Party is incredibly fortunate to have two strong
candidates who have generated transformational enthusiasm across the
country. We've seen historic turnout as new voters have come out to show
their support for our candidates and fundraising numbers have been
through the roof," said Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard
Dean. "While this is a close primary, at the end of the day both of our
candidates understand that this election is about the future of our
country. In signing this agreement, Senator Clinton and Senator Obama are
demonstrating their commitment to unifying our party and ensuring that we
have the resources needed to win the White House, no matter who the
nominee is. The message is clear. Democrats are unified to put a Democrat
back in the White House so we can get our economy back on track, bring
our troops home and finally do something about our ailing health care
system."

23. Didn't Hillary raise $80 million for her general election BEFORE Iowa?

She has to do something with all that money now that she won't be running in the general.

28. Was she allowed to switch part of that to primary?

Remember, there is a $2300 limit per donor for primary and $2300 per donor for general. Initially she didn't hit up her elite donors for a lot of primary donations since she only needed enough money for the cake walk to February 5th.

Did she move that money to her primary -- is she even allowed to -- or did she tap the elites again for the primary when she woke up February 6th?

27. I think what it means
I think what it means is they'll start raising money for whomever the nominee maybe. In other words, if you give money to this fund it'll go to the party's nominee for the general election. That way there's money in the tank while this primary battle goes on. Otherwise, if they wait until the primary battle ends, it's going to shorten the amount of time they'll have to raise money.
