And I will again as soon as I can get out from under some current debts. Now is a perfect time to donate, with Kerry-Edwards on public funding. Clark is covering his own expenses campaigning for Democrats, obviously including John Kerry and John Edwards, through his PAC. He goes everywhere, from Alaska to Alabama. On the national level, Kerry has no better defender of his war time record, or his anti war activism when he returned from Viet Nam, than Wes Clark, who is appearing in front of Veterans groups for Kerry. Clark is perfect to refute the current round slurs and lies about Kerry and that era.

Plus Clark is well accepted in places like Alaska and South Dakota where few National Democratic Party leaders are, much more effective at pitching our message there than someone like Hilary Clinton or Al Gore would be, as much as I like them. WE have to take apart the Republican majorities in Congress, and Wes is one of our best weapons for doing so. Not to mention that he represents a strong BUT PROGRESSIVE stand on National Security issues, exactly the right message for the Democratic Party, unlike some of our Neo-Republican Hawks like Joe Lieberman. We have to make sure that Wes Clark, after our National Ticket of course, remains the leading Democratic voice on foreign policy and National Security. He doesn't have deep roots in our Party people, there is no machine behind him. We are his roots. We have to make sure that his voice remains heard, and the best way to do that is by donating to www.wespac2004.com
