1. What was the Dow when Bush took office, about 10,500??? Bush is in danger
of going into election day with a Dow lower than when he took office. When was the last time that happened and did the incumbent win?

2. Not Sure....
10,000 is a meaningless number but it has a huge psychological impact....

Rising oil prices act as a governor on the economy...

3. It is a meaningless number unless you have a 401k
account invested in mutual funds. If you do, you will find that number is very important.

4. I Am A Small Investor
Dow 10,000 has psychological significance but it's not a technical level in market parlance....

It's been stuck there for six or so years... You would have been better off in a host of other investments...

What will we see first? Dow 9,000 or Dow 11,000...

What was the high point for the Dow?

11,400 or so.....

5. You would have been better off in a host of other investments...
For example: a passbook account, paint can buried in the back yard, ...

Haven't had any money in stocks for years, but many still do, they still believe in "dollar cost averaging" as described by the Saturday morning free financial advice, subscribe to my newsletter radio guys.

6. People Don't Realize
that the Dow was in the same place in 1949 that it was in 1932 and it was in the same place in 1982 that it was in 1969...

Stockbrokers never tell you that...
